Using our famous old-school pork sausage recipe, with the addition of fresh locally grown Puha, an ever-popular green in Māori cuisine, these Kiwi Classic bangers are superb! Using natural hog casings, no fillers, no MSG or Gluten, and only the best quality minimal seasonings, Pork and Puha are fast becoming a Beard Brothers classic.
Pūhā (also known as Rauriki) is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, and a source of folate, niacin, vitamin B6 and contains potassium at levels of dietary significance.
Flavour Profile
This new take on a traditional pork banger is as Kiwi as you get. We use one hundred percent free farmed pork, no other filler meats at all. The Pork and Puha banger has subtle hints of ginger, mace, nutmeg, white and black pepper. This is a cracker combination and is a superb sausage to serve with good old mash!
