Wendy’s Chicken Sausage
& Bean Stew

Ingredients

1 tray
Beard Brothers Chicken Sausages

1 can (420g)
Black Beans with brine

1
Onion, chopped

2 cloves
Garlic

1 Can
Chopped Tomatoes

2 Tbsp
Balsamic Vinegar

1 Tbsp
Worcestershire Sauce

1 cube
Stock

1 tsp
Thyme

1 Tbsp
Cornflour

1/2 to 1 tsp
Chilli Flakes

Method

  1. Add blackbeans, onion, garlic and sausages to slow cooker. 
  2. In a bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients + 1 cup water until well combined. Season with salt and pepper. 
  3. Pour the liquid mixture over the sausages and cover with lid. 
  4. Slow cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours.

Serving Suggestion

  • Serve with baked potatoes or mash.
